Lithuanian team scored first group points in six qualifying matches for World Cup 2022.

In the match of the sixth round of the qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup, the Lithuanian national team hosted Bulgaria as part of Quartet C.

It seemed that at the end of the two halves the teams would never be able to identify the strongest, and the final whistle would fix the final score 1: 1, but at the very end Chernykh scored a double and brought victory to Lithuania.

Thus, the hosts scored the first three points in the selection for the world championship, but this did not help them to leave the last line in group C.
