FRIENDLY MATCHES OF THE TEAMS-PARTICIPANTS OF THE NATIONS LEAGUE The first half was held with a slight advantage of our national team. Already in the 12th minute, Andrei Yarmolenko could open the scoring, but his penalty kick, which he himself earned, hit the post.

Andriy Shevchenko's wards continued to act more actively at the opponent's goal, but the hosts' goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski coped with the blows of Alexander Zinchenko and Roman Yaremchuk.

At the end of the half, our team unexpectedly missed. Andrey Lunin unjustifiably left the goal, trying to interrupt the pass to Piotr Zielinski, but was unable to knock the ball. As a result of an error by the guests' goalkeeper, Krzysztof Pentek struck the empty net of the Ukrainians with a long-range shot.

At the beginning of the second half, Viktor Tsygankov could level the score, but Skorupski hardly parried his kick from 20 meters from under the crossbar.

The Poles used their second moment in the match again. In the 63rd minute, after a free kick, Premyslav Plakhet sent the ball to the post with a header, and Jakub Moder, being the first to finish the ball, sent it into the net.

At the 76th minute, the Ukrainians did not convert another good moment to score the hosts' goal. Marlos led Tsygankov to a date with Skorupski with a magnificent pass, but Viktor shot wide of the gate from a deadly position.

As a result, our team was defeated, while playing no worse than the opponent and creating more scoring chances.
