Roma's punishment for the inability of her employees to draw up an application for the season was left in force.

The Italian Football Federation has finally rejected Roma's appeal for a technical defeat against Verona in the first round of Serie A - reports Football Italia.

On the first game day of the Italian championship of the 2020/21 season, Roma played with Verona in a draw (0: 0), however, due to the appearance of an incorrectly registered player on the field, the Romans were credited with a technical defeat - 0: 3.

An aggravating circumstance in the case was that the employees of the corresponding department of Serie A, on the eve of the start of the championship, warned Roma that in the summer Amadou Diawara turned 23 years old, and he is still in the application for the youth list. Warning passed on deaf ears.

It is interesting that this technical defeat remains the only one for Roma in seven rounds of the championship, and if it were not for the “puncture” from Diavar, the “wolves” could take second place, only one point behind Milan.
