The Hungarian Football Federation announced the restart of the football season, which was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Football in the country will return on May 23 with two matches of the Hungarian Cup, as well as one match of the national championship.

It is noted that the games will be held without fans in the stands, and players will have to pass tests for coronavirus three times: before resuming training, during the training process, as well as immediately before matches.

At the same time, the seasons in the lower leagues of Hungary will not be resumed. The same goes for futsal and amateur championships..
