Shakhtar midfielder Alexander Zubkov has fallen into the sphere of interest of Sampdoria, reports the publication Corriere dello Sport.

Genoese club intends to strengthen the attack line next summer and will try to acquire the Ukrainian winger.

Last summer, Zubkov went on loan to Ferencvaros. Hungarian club may redeem the rights to a football player for 4.5 million euros.

This season, the 23-year-old player has played 33 matches in a green-white T-shirt, scoring nine goals and eight assists.
