Ukrainian chess player Anna Muzychuk became the world vice-champion in blitz, the world championship was held in Moscow.

Anna lost to the winner of the Russian woman Ekaterina Lagno half a point. Lagno, who changed Ukrainian citizenship to Russian in 2014, defended the title of world champion, who won in 2018. Third place went to Tan Zhongyi from China.

Note that nine representatives of Ukraine took part in the tournament.
