Liverpool's winger Djerdan Shakiri believes that winning the Champions League with Bavaria speaks more about his abilities than his departure from the Premier League with Stoke.

"Departure from the Premier League with Stoke City has become a very bad experience for the club and for me. I hope that they will return to the top division as soon as possible ", said Shakiri.

"But despite what happened there, I am the winner of the Champions League. I think I deserve respect. People should not forget where I played before, what qualities I possess, and what I achieved in football ".

"In Munich, I played for one of the largest clubs in the world, and now I’ve again advocated a big club. So I don’t feel any pressure when I put on a Liverpool T-shirt ".

In the current season, Shakiri played nine matches for Liverpool in all tournaments, three of which are in the starting lineup, scored one goal and gave three assists.
