Seven Kiev beaches have an international award "Blue Flag". This was announced by the mayor of Kiev Vitali Klichko during the inspection of the capitalally renovated beaches "Venice" and "Molodezhny" in the capital's Hydropark, ForUm told the press service of the mayor.

So, in 2017, the international ecological award "Blue Flag" was given to the beaches - "Children's", "Golden" and "Pushcha-Voditsa". According to the results of the inspection, the Mayor of the capital commissioned the landscaping of recreation areas near the beaches and establish restrictive posts to put an end to the uncontrolled entry of cars into the territory of recreation areas.

According to the mayor, this year in Kiev there are 13 municipal beaches where you can swim and rest in the summer heat. All of them received sanitary passports that will be valid for the season. There are also 17 recreation areas near the water without bathing.
