The first of the five spin-offs of the "Game of Thrones", which is being developed by HBO, has given signs of life. The channel ordered a pilot episode of the show from screenwriter Jane Goldman.

According Entertainment Weekly, if the series comes out, it will be his showrunner.

The Goldman series is a prequel, the events of which take place thousands of years before the events of the "Game of Thrones". The show will tell about the dark times of Vasteras and its biggest secrets, including the appearance of white seekers and the legends of a long night.

In the American version, the prequel was named Golden Age of Heroes, which can literally be translated as "The Golden Age of Heroes". What title the film will receive in our box office - it is not yet known.

The script was created under the supervision of George Martin - he will act as executive producer. The plot of the prequel is kept secret, but the writer has already promised that none of the characters of the "Game of Thrones" will appear in it.

Let's note, Goldman is a British screenwriter who worked on the films "Star Dust", "Pipets", "X-Men: First Class", and also by both parts of Kingsman (Matthew Vaughn took them all off). She will also write Kingsman 3.

Recall, the eighth season of the "Game of Thrones" is expected on HBO in the summer of 2019.
