For December 2017, the residents of Kyiv received a recalculation for poorly provided services of communal housing and maintenance sites for a total of 2 million hryvnia, - said the deputy chairman of the KCSA Petr Panteleev. According to him, the main task for utilities to provide services for the maintenance of homes and local areas is high-quality and timely customer service, otherwise - enterprises will recalculate downward. The official recalled that today the tariff of communal management companies in Kiev for maintenance of houses and adjacent territories includes 17 services. This is one of the largest spectrum of services within the same tariff among the cities of Ukraine. "Maintenance of old dwelling houses creates additional difficulties in the work of public utilities. However, this should not be an excuse for poor-quality or untimely work. For inadequate or unreferenced services, Kyivans should not pay ", - the deputy head of KSCA, the press service of the city administration. Panteleev clarified that the most significant recalculations were made for residents of maintenance of elevators, cleaning of the adjacent territory and staircases, maintenance of dispatching systems, lighting of common areas, maintenance of intra-house systems and the like. "It is very important that the recalculation was carried out not only on the basis of acts of claims from residents, but also automatically on the part of housing organizations where the service was not provided for certain reasons. In general, since July last year and until now utility companies have recalculated almost UAH 20 million, "said the representative of KSCA.
