As the leader of South Korea noted, that the meeting of the heads of the two countries is possible only if the "certain conditions".

South Korean President Mun Zhe Ying said earlier that he would hold a meeting with Kim Jong-no to ease tension in the region.

According to the South Korean leader, the solution of the problem of relations between the South and the North of Korea can be facilitated if the North Korean nuclear problem is solved.

Mun Zhe Ying, however, noted that before the peaceful resolution of the issue of the denuclearization of the DPRK, South Korea will continue to maintain the sanctions regime, including unilateral sanctions against Pyongyang, together with the world community.

As previously reported, URA-Inform, during direct talks, representatives of North Korea agreed to send their athletes and a support group to the Olympic Games in the South Korean city of Pyongchang, as well as a delegation from high-ranking officials.
