As a result of the incident, two private security officers were injured. One of them died in hospital.

As reported by the police department of the Kiev region, the attacker went into the store, sprayed tear gas and, threatening with weapons, tried to make jewelry. At the same time the seller managed to press the alarm button and a few minutes later the attire of private security arrived at the scene.

The intruder shot several times at the guards, then disappeared into an unknown direction.

A 42-year-old security officer received a gunshot wound to his neck, doctors could not save his life. At the same time, another guard received not serious injuries.

The police opened in fact two criminal cases under articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine Rampage and Intentional Murder.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, the police of the city of Kiev detained the son of a people's deputy from the faction of the "Radical Party of Oleg Lyashko" Igor Popov. Bogdan Popov, born in 2003, is suspected of robbing one of the capital's shops. A source in law enforcement agencies told this to journalists. According to him, the teenager was detained during the attempted robbery.
