"As a result of this year, we are going to 15.2 billion cubic meters, and set the task by 2020 to reach the extraction of 20 billion cubic meters. This will ensure Ukraine's energy independence and will allow not only to get rid of fuel imports as a factor of influence on Ukraine, but also ensure a reduction in gas prices within the country. Thus, Ukrainians will have access to cheap gas, "- said the head of the Cabinet. According to him, the government is striving for complete demonopolization, building a transparent market for blue fuel in the country, creating a fair price for it, the agency UNN. The publication recalls that these issues will be addressed by members of the newly appointed Supervisory Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, the largest energy company in the country.
