The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine announced the prize money that our athletes will be able to get for a successful performance at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.

For "gold" will pay 125 thousand dollars, for "silver" - 80 thousand dollars, for "bronze" - 55 thousand dollars. Interestingly, exactly the same prizes were at the Sochi 2014 Olympics.

Now Ukrainians have won 15 licenses: 11 in biathlon (6 - women, 5 - men) and 4 - in figure skating. To get into the Olympic team pretend 57 athletes.

All candidates are now preparing for the Olympics in a special program. To finance this year, 54.64 million hryvnias.

Recall, at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, the national team of Ukraine won two medals and both in the relay: "gold" in the women's relay race and "bronze" Vita Semerenko in the sprint.
