In October, "1 + 1" will host the long-awaited premiere of the "Model XL" project, which will expand modern ideas about female beauty.

So, Katerina Osadchaya said that in her childhood she was shy of her growth:.

"At school I was above other peers. My height was somewhat disturbing to me, I was a little awkward. Then I was engaged in dances, and because of growth me even always put last. But, as soon as I started modeling business in 14 years, once the complexes disappeared. I realized that this is my advantage, not a lack of ".

Designer Andre Tan, who will also decide the fate of participants on the project "Model XL", was struck by frank recognition. It turns out that the designer was embarrassed by his own nose.

"My main complex since childhood was my big nose. All my life my sister called me snub-nosed, and at school constantly teased. I even said that when I grow up, I will do something with this nose. But then I realized that I was born this way and I should love myself like this. Our project participants and spectators, I also want to wish to love myself for who they are ".

Choreographer and referee "Dance with Sights" Vlad Yama told how he shaved his head for the first time, and admitted that he was very worried because he would stand out among other dancers:.

"I remember that I was very afraid and shy to shave my head for the first time.. I realized that for a ballroom dancer this is very untypical. Then I did not know any famous dancer with a bald head. They all had curvy hair. But when I finally made up my mind, it became my "chip", allowed me to stand out among others, it became my feature. This was during the first season of "Dance with the sun".

A model plus a sauce from Latvia Tatyana Matskevich told that she faced violent insults because of her size, but having overcome the complexes and having learned to love herself, she became a popular model:.

"As a child, I really did not like myself, I had many complexes. I was red, curly and plump, for which I was constantly teased at school. A little later I began to gain weight - I have a genetic predisposition. All the girl-friends were thin, against their background I looked full, so the complexes intensified. I did not understand that completeness is my feature, I did not appreciate it, but I wanted to be like everyone else. Desperately and to no avail tried to lose weight. But at some point I was sick of it. I gradually turned my "shortcomings" into advantages. Now I live in harmony with my body. My size does not stop me from living. I am an individuality. Why should I meet fictitious standards? ".

Recall, the premiere of the project "Model XL", whose participants will get a chance to become a Ukrainian model plus saiz, will be held at "1 + 1" in October.
