At the same time, according to the ministry, in July this year the average salary of Ukrainians was 7 thousand. 339 UAH. Thus, for a month the salary decreased by 225 hryvnias.
Compared to August 2016, the average salary increased by 36.8%. Real wages in August this year compared with July decreased by 3%. As for the previous August, the salary grew by 17.2%.
At the same time, the highest average wage has traditionally been recorded among aviation industry employees, who on average receive UAH 35,163 per employee. In second place are financiers and insurance agents - UAH 13,022. Employees of the information and telecommunications industries received an average of 12,097 hryvnia, while technicians and scientists have a salary of 10,001 hryvnia.
In agriculture, the salary is 5 797 hryvnia, and in industry - 7 847 hryvnia. At the same time, the lowest salary for mail and courier employees who receive UAH 3,929 per month.
By regions, the largest average salary is traditionally in Kiev - 11 073 hryvnia, in second place Donetsk region - 7 753 hryvnia. The lowest average salary in the Ternopil region. Here people get an average of 5 503 hryvnia per month.
The State Statistics Service also recalls that these figures are given without taking into account the temporarily occupied territory of the Crimea, the city of Sevastopol and part of the zone of the antiterrorist operation.
Recall, as reported URA-Inform, as of August 1 this year, arrears in payment of wages in Ukraine amounted to two billion 377.2 million hryvnia.
