Striker Antonio Cassano again announced his retirement from football.

July 10, Antonio Cassano signed a contract with Verona, which was supposed to speak for the club throughout the year. But after 8 days he decided to announce the end of his career as a football player.

Less than three hours later, as Cassano said that he changed his mind to hang boots on a nail. However, after a week the decision of the striker changed again, after which Verona's management terminated his contract with him.
