The proposal was made by the democrats Brad Sherman and Al Grieg.

"We are beginning to make efforts to urge the legal committee of the House of Representatives to hold hearings on the issue of obstruction of justice and Russian interference in our elections," Sherman said on Tuesday..

"The recent revelations of Donald Trump Jr. testify that Trump's election headquarters was ready to accept assistance from Russia," it says in a statement.
