The famous Polish actor Daniel Olbrychsky is shot in the 12-episode adventure drama "Souvenir from Odessa", which will soon be shown on the channel "1 + 1".

In the series, Daniel plays the main character - violinist Matvey - at adulthood. The actor admits that it was not difficult for him to become a musician: "As a child, I played for several years on the violin. I'll take the instrument - of course, I will not play it. But it's right to keep the violin in the frame without special preparation ". Shootings of the series are held in Odessa and Kiev. In particular, the plot unfolds in the legendary Odessa hotel "Londonskaya": in the Marcello Mastroianni room, a scene was shot with the participation of the master of world cinema. The famous actor has long wanted to visit the southern Palmyra, which he once told a lot of his friend Vladimir Vysotsky.

Daniel Olbrychsky starred in the films of such famous directors as Claude Lelouch, Andrzej Wajda. To Ukrainian viewers, he is well acquainted with the film "Fire and Sword" by Jerzy Hoffmann.

According to the producers, on the set of "Souvenir from Odessa" Daniel from the first minutes conquered the whole team with his charm.

Interestingly, in the series of the channel "1 + 1" viewers will also see many popular Ukrainian actors, such as Dmitry Surzhikov, Stanislav Boklan, Dmitry Sova, Vladimir Goryansky, George Deliyev and others.

Recall, "Souvenir from Odessa" - a love story of Lisa and Matvei, which unfolds in Odessa during the revolution of 1917. The main characters will meet with the legendary personalities of that time - the king of the hijackers Mikhail Vinnytsky, known as Mishka Yaponchik, ataman Grigory Kotovsky and General Alexei Almazov. In attempts not only to survive, but also to preserve dignity, Lisa and Matvey take desperate decisions and suffer from their consequences.
