RIA Novosti reports that the fire on an area of ??200 square meters broke out Friday morning in the east of Hamburg, where the G-20 summit opens. Fire service of the city reported on Twitter that the tires caught fire in the warehouse of one of the automobile salons.

It is noted that at the moment the firefighters are trying to eliminate the fire. The height of the flame reaches ten meters, the column of smoke is visible for several kilometers. DPA agency reports that more than 60 firefighters and a lot of special equipment arrived at the site of emergency.

The authorities do not associate the fire with numerous protests against the G20 that have been held in the city since the end of last week. However, according to the DPA, on Thursday, July 6, unidentified persons attacked a local Porsche auto show and burned ten cars.
