Intel Corporation announced its intention to invest $ 178 million in the construction of a new development center in the Indian city of Bangalore. In an area of ??57,600 square meters, which will be located on the Intel campus, it is planned to widely use Internet technologies of things such as smart lighting and power supply of premises from renewable sources, including electrical substations on fuel cells.

The technology of construction will also be quite original: it is called One High Technology and implies the erection of each new floor on the ground, and then lifting it and installing it on top of the previous one. It is argued that this method allows you to reduce the time costs by about 30% compared to the traditional construction.

Note that for Intel, its R & D in India is of particular strategic importance, since it is the largest outside the US. The authorities of the Indian state of Karnataka, in which the city of Bangalore is located, also welcome Intel's investments, as they contribute to the economic development of the region.
