At the WWDC 2017 conference, Apple introduced the new operating system iOS 11. During the presentation we talked about the main innovations, but the first beta version of the OS revealed even more new features.

One of these changes was the new animation when the device was unlocked. In previous firmware, the iPhone and iPad displayed the same animation when the device was turned on. During the testing of the first beta version of iOS 11 it was discovered that the animation depends on the wallpaper installed on the home screen.

The brightest part of the wallpaper is used as a starting point for the unlock animation - the lightest area of ??the picture first appears. Especially attractive animation looks, if the home screen is installed wallpaper with a picture of the sunset. The rest of the display is slightly shaded, which creates a sense of depth.

New animation - a fairly minor change in iOS 11. Of course, it will not change the user's life, but it will be a pleasant addition to many other innovations.
