With the entry into force of the visa-free regime between Ukraine and the European Union, the number of refusals on the Polish-Ukrainian border may increase.

This was stated in the Border Guard Service of Poland, "Ukrinform".

In the Polish department noted that the visa-free regime will try to take advantage of those who could previously refuse to enter at the stage of obtaining a visa.

"As a result of the introduction of a visa-free regime, the load of checking the purpose of entry will be borne exclusively by the border guards. We forecast that as a result of the abolition of the visa regime at the border, there will be more travelers who, under current conditions, have not received a visa, thus the number of refusals to enter Poland will increase, "reads the text.
