Traditional Velodiy passes in Kharkov on May, 20th. The event was attended by about 15 thousand Kharkiv citizens - from the smallest to the adult athletes.

Before crossing the route in 8.6 km, the cyclists joined the flash mob on Liberty Square. This year the participants of the Velodnia with their bikes lined up in huge letters "I love Kharkov" (the word "love" in this phrase replaced the heart).

From the main stage of the holiday of its participants, the head of the region Yulia Svetlichnaya greeted, the Main informs with reference to the press service of HOGA.

"I wish you all positive emotions! Said the head of HOGA. - I think that today we will once again prove that our region is the most sporting in Ukraine ".

Yulia Svetlichnaya noted that she will spend the day together with the athletes and will also participate in the race at 8.6 km.

"It's not the first time I've been taking part in sports events that take place not only in the city of Kharkiv, but also in the whole region. I believe that the health of our nation is behind the sporting way of life, "explained the head of HOGA. - I am very glad that today thousands of Kharkovites have joined the Velodrome. I think that every year this action will gather more and more people. We started with 150 people 13 years ago, today here are thousands. And this can be proud of! ".
