The investigators handed it over to the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv. On this on Wednesday, May 17, on his page in the social network said the Attorney General of Ukraine Yuliy Lutsenko.

He also said that in April, following the results of the pre-trial investigation, 31 people were brought to criminal responsibility. At the same time, against 25 of them, the courts pronounced guilty verdicts.

Among the suspects are the former deputy prosecutor of the Rivne region, the former head of the Sarnensky local prosecutor's office, the former head of the Dubrovitsky department of the Sarnensky local prosecutor's office, a former employee of the Office for Combating Organized Crime of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Zhytomyr region, the investigator of the Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Rivne region and Senior detective on especially important cases of the counterintelligence department of the Security Service of Ukraine in Rovensk "Lutsenko explained, adding that now they are all suspended from office.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, in the Rivne region, the prosecutor's office together with the police exposed a group of people who organized an illegal scheme of mining amber. During the search they seized almost half a ton of sun stone.
