"Krestovsky" is ready to host the Cup of Confederations, which will be held June 17 - July 2.

To this decision came the representatives of FIFA, Zenit, the Organizing Committee of Russia-2018 and the Administration of St. Petersburg.

It was decided that the meeting of the 29th round of the championship of Russia between Zenit and Krasnodar will be held at the Petrovsky stadium, the old Petrograd arena. Do this so that the organizers fully prepared the field for the Confederations Cup matches.

The first match at the "Krestovsky" Zenit held on May 7. The management and the players of the club expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of the lawn: the field was noticeably "bald", and pieces of humus and flew after the rolls.

Note, "Krestovsky" will host four meetings of the Confederations Cup, among which opening match and final. In addition, he is one of the arenas of the 2018 World Cup.
