The Kremlin loses control over the siloviki, which even begin to terrorize state corporations.

March 18 this year in the toilet of SIZO № 5 found the dead executive director of Roskosmos Vladimir Evdokimov. Apparently, he was required to testify to the head of "Helicopter Service Company" Akim Noskov, whose right hand Evdokimov was de facto. A month before the murder Evdokimov was transferred to the cell without video surveillance, and then demonstratively killed - with several knife hits.

The press immediately launched a powerful draining campaign that Evdokimov was removed because he was determined to "cooperate with the investigation and give evidence in the context of the criminal case being investigated against him". In short, they demanded from him to give testimony to Noskov, that's Sock him and soaked him.

It was like the version about Magnitsky, who was mowed in prison by the all-powerful Browder.

After all, regardless of who stole so much, Evdokimov was not the only witness to the terrible crimes of Noskov. He was just a hostage, taken to get testimony on the chef.

Noskov did not make sense to eliminate the hostage - he had to negotiate with those who ordered him. And it is absolutely incredible that, far from the criminal environment and operational combinations, Noskov could transfer Evdokimov to a cell without video surveillance and hire assassins.

Variants, you see, there were two. Either the treacherous Soskov really did all these things: and then one would expect that the wise investigators would immediately expose the murderer and present Noskov with a charge. Either the murder of Evdokimov was an excess of the performer. Absolutely unpunished (as in the case of the murder of Magnitsky), the gang extorted Evdokimov's testimony (he, by the way, gave them), nightmares,. And then one would expect that no perpetrators of the murder in the closed SIZO will be found, and the gang will soon take a new hostage.

So it happened recently: on April 5 in Moscow, in the same case, former deputy director general for economy and finance of Roskosmos Sergey Mamaev was arrested. As the investigators explained, they used to think that Yevdokimov was the organizer of the theft, but, as soon as they were struck with a sharpening, their eyes opened, and they realized that the organizer of the theft was Mamayev, who had previously witnessed the case.

The murder in the remand prison of Vladimir Yevdokimov marks a new stage in the disintegration of the power apparatus of the Russian state, which is even deeper than the one we observed in the assassination of Sergei Magnitsky. After all, Edokimov was not the defender of some enemy of the homeland Browder. He was the top manager of Roskosmos, and the head of the corporation, Igor Komarov, repeatedly vouched for him and demanded to release him from the pre-trial detention center. Of course, a Russian businessman knows for a long time that getting under investigation is a normal production risk. But somehow it is somehow assumed that the top manager of the state corporation, which enjoys full support from the authorities and is arrested as part of a commercial disassembly, is not accidentally stashed in the prison cell.

Murder of Evdokimov is only one of several episodes that make one think about how the Kremlin in general controls the current siloviki, how much willpower or desire to interfere in the military field economy of gathering and hunting that has developed in Russia. The economy, in which almost any Russian businessman and official is obviously a legitimate victim of power bands, and the fact that this businessman or official has a snout in the fluff itself, does not change the situation.

In conditions when budget revenues are declining, and the total arrests of officials and businessmen become the most profitable way of procuring for the siloviki, this entails new risks for the regime.
