British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson considers it necessary to strengthen sanctions against Russia.

"We can not allow the continuation of Russian aggression, which we have seen in this country. We will never recognize the annexation of Crimea. We believe that the pressure on Russia should be reinforced, and not vice versa, "- said Johnson, during a joint press conference with Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin and Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski.

In addition, he noted that positive progress has been made in reforms in Ukraine, in particular, anti-corruption initiatives that are particularly welcomes UK.

In early February, the UK Foreign Minister Boris Johnson opposed the easing of sanctions adopted by the EU against Russia. Johnson said that Britain will insist that there is no reason for the lifting of sanctions.
