The FSB released the detainees at the administrative border of Crimea human rights defenders

Members of the Crimean Human Rights Group, Olga Skrypnik and Vladimir Chekrygin, as well as a representative of the Ukrainian ombudsman detained together with them were released by the Federal Security Service of Russia, and are already at the Ukrainian checkpoint "Kalanchak". This was reported to Novaya Gazeta by the husband of Olga Skripnik Vissarion Aseev.

He has not yet met with the detainees, but according to his information, protocols on administrative violation were drawn up against them. 2 items. 18. 1 of the Administrative Code (Violation of the Russian state border regime), which entails the imposition of a fine of up to a thousand rubles.

The release of human rights defenders was also confirmed by the head of the Secretariat of the Ukrainian Ombudsman Bogdan Kriklivenko on his Facebook page.

Earlier on Monday, human rights defenders Olga Skrypnik and Vladimir Chekrygin, as well as one of the staff of the Office of the Human Rights Ombudsman in Ukraine, were detained by the FSB officers in the so-called buffer zone between the Ukrainian checkpoint "Kalanchak" and the Crimean checkpoint "Armyansk". On the border of the administrative border of Crimea and mainland Ukraine, human rights defenders arrived to check the work of the Ukrainian checkpoint.
