From exist in Ukraine, 17 thousand bridges, more than half - about 9,000 - are in disrepair, and 4,000 need immediate repair, said Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omeljan.

The Minister noted that the program is implemented in such a way to restore the Ukrainian bridges. "This year we will be able to repair only 80 bridges," - said Omeljan.

According to him, construction of new bridges planned for this year. "This year, we turn to the construction of new bridges. In particular this applies to the city of Nikolaev, "- he said.
