From April 1 this year in the metro fare for beneficiaries will be carried out exclusively by means of cards from Kiev, said the chief of staff of the KSCA Vladimir Bondarenko.

He recalled that the card can get from Kiev any person who is registered, working or studying in the capital. To obtain the card should contact the department Oschadbank, having a passport and an identification number, a certificate from the place of work or study.

For the privileged categories of the population after the receipt of the card in a bank must apply to the district department of social protection, with an additional document confirming exemption.

Bondarenko said that the process of producing the cards in Oshchadbank takes two to four weeks.

Currently Oschadbank has issued 500 thousand cards for users. In addition, the city is now working with Privatbank for the pilot project a virtual card from Kiev - the relevant mobile application for smartphones.

Recall that the Kiev Metro intends to stop selling tokens through cash in the near future.
