Scientists using the Hubble telescope have discovered an unusual star that "escaped" from a small stellar system. As reported on the NASA website, the researchers managed to establish that several stars waged a "gravitational war", which resulted in the fact that at least three stars were thrown out of the system into space.

This event remained unnoticed for several hundred years, until scientists discovered two of the "stars" dropped from the system. Observations showed that two stars move at enormous speed in opposite directions relative to each other. The origin of the same stars remained a mystery for researchers.

Scientists have traced the path that the stars have done in 540 years, and found that they were part of one system. According to the researchers, this system included at least one more star.

Now with the help of the "Hubble" scientists discovered the third "fugitive".

It turned out that all three stars were included in one system, which was located not far from the center of the Orion Nebula, at a distance of 1300 light years from Earth.

Earlier it was reported that the Hubble telescope photographed the edge of the Big Bang. In total, astronomers discovered more than 250 small galaxies that existed between 600 and 900 million years after the Big Bang. Light from these galaxies has traveled a path length of 12 billion years.
