Sergei Palkin is confident that the championship of Ukraine is still intriguing due to the introduction of the second stage in the format of the tournament.

"An interesting discussion unfolded around proposals to make changes to the format of CH for the next season," - wrote Sergei Palkin on his Facebook page.

"I want to draw your attention to the fact that if the current championship was conducted by the analogy of last season - 14 clubs and 26 rounds, then Shakhtar with a 14-point lead after the 22nd round ahead of time would become a champion. But with the second stage - intrigue is still preserved ".

"This is a step forward and a clear example of how changes in the format can increase the interest of the competition in the current conditions".
