In the city of Nezhin, Chernihiv region, an ecological check was carried out on a local lake that had recently turned pink. Environmentalists did not detect the presence of toxic substances in water.

Experts checked water on eleven parameters. And only one was broken - the amount of sulfate in the water. But this does not pose a threat to the lives and health of people in the vicinity.

What exactly colored the water in pink before it is installed. However, the death of living organisms was not detected. This factor indicates the non-toxicity of the "dye".
