In Kharkov, the march was held under the slogan "We demand 100%". The procession was attended mainly by young women.

They were holding posters "All different, all equal", "There are no gender in professions", "Guys are one team", "Equality is coming!". From time to time they chanted: "Smooth work - equal pay!".

Later the procession was joined by men from the public organization "Antifascist Action" with their slogan: "There is no fascism, no sexism!".

In Lviv, women also spoke out against domestic violence and for equal pay.

Participants stressed that they perceive the holiday not as a "shovel", but as the International Day for Women's Rights.

"We consider March 8 as the Women's Day. Therefore, the action, timed to the International Women's Day, became part of the International Women's Strike, which takes place in more than 40 countries around the world. We oppose family violence, for paying wages for women and men, "explained the participant of the march Oksana Vavrenchuk.

As reported by the "Observer", March 8 in Kiev, also held a march of feminists.
