In Ukraine, about 2.5 million working pensioners are now living.

This Internet-conference on Friday, said Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko.

"There is a statistic. Now in Ukraine about 2, 5 million Ukrainian pensioners continue to work, "- said Rozenko.

According to him, Ukrainians continue to work in retirement because "unfortunately, the level of pension provision in our country is extremely low," and on changing this situation it is necessary to work actively.

At the same time, he said that is not a supporter of the idea to put the Ukrainians faced with a choice: either to receive a pension or to continue to work.

"Today we do not raise the question of whether a person has to choose: either to work or to receive a pension. Of course, there is the experience of different countries in the world where, when people retire, then that's all retirement. On the other hand, in Ukraine the situation is slightly different with this. I do not support such ideas, and I hope that in the pension reform, which will offer the Cabinet, these options will not be "- summed up Rozenko.
