Irish actor Killian Murphy rarely shares with journalists details of his personal life. He considers this an extra hype, preferring instead to give time to work, for which he is ready for anything.

In one of the last interviews, the actor told about what had to be sacrificed for the role in the series "Sharp Visors", released in 2013.

It turns out that Killian had to give up vegetarianism, which he adhered to for 15 years!.

Murphy claims that the creators of the series became agitated that the actor would look like a lean Irish guy, so the actor's coach recommended him to start eating meat.

Note that his decision to become a vegetarian was not influenced by any ethical reasons: the actor was simply afraid to catch mad cow disease.
