The HBO channel launched the third season of the series "The Real Detective", reports The Hollywood Reporter.

Above the sequel will work scriptwriter and producer of the first two seasons of the series Nick Pizzolatto and creator of the series "Deadwood", "Fart" and "Blues Hill Street" David Milch.

According to the publication, Pizzolatto and Milch have already started working on the script for the third season of the show.

The premiere of "The real detective" was held in 2014. In the first season, the main roles were played by Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson.

In the sequel, released in 2015, the story focused on the characters Collin Farrell, Rachel McAdams and Vince Vaughn. The second season, unlike the first, was poorly received by spectators and film critics.

Earlier it became known that the seventh season of the series "Game of Thrones" will be released in the summer of 2017, instead of the usual for the viewer March - April. The creators of the series also confirmed that the seventh season of the "Game of Thrones" will consist of seven series, not of 10, as the previous seasons.
