General FSO Lopyrev is accused of bribes for 6 million rubles

RIA Novosti reports that a representative of the Investigative Committee said that the General of the Federal Security Service Gennady Lopyrev is charged with taking bribes for a total of more than 6 million rubles.

The investigator at the Moscow City Court said: "In case of proof of Lopyrev's guilt, it is necessary to impose a fine on him in 100-fold amount, that is 627 million rubles".



In addition, a source familiar with the situation, said that, according to the investigation, it is about two bribes - by 3.2 million and 3.07 million rubles.

Earlier it became known that the court extended arrest to General FSO Lopyrev.

As it was informed earlier, in the case of General FSO Lopyrev, a case was brought against bribery. He was detained in Sochi on suspicion of embezzlement, and in his apartment found money in the amount of 1 billion rubles.
