CNN reports that the experts of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) made a depressing forecast that inflation in Venezuela next year will reach 2000 percent.

In this year 2017, according to forecasts, inflation will reach 720 percent. The economy will fall by 7.5 percent. Unemployment will affect every fourth inhabitant of the country. The new forecast-analytical report of the IMF says that "Venezuela will continue to experience great economic difficulties," as well as experiencing problems with the import of goods.

According to unconfirmed data, last year inflation in the country was 800 percent. It is noted that approximately the same situation was in Russia almost a quarter of a century ago. So, in 1993 the inflation rate in Russia was 840 percent.
