RIA Novosti reports that several thousand people left on Saturday, April 15, to the streets of New York, demanding the publication of a tax return by Donald Trump. It is noted that protest actions are held all over the country and beyond on the eve of Tax Day - the day of paying taxes in the USA.

During the election campaign, Trump did not publish his tax data.

Political opponents of Trump expressed the opinion that this may be due to the desire of the current owner of the White House to conceal the low tax rate obtained through loopholes in legislation.

Trump said in September last year: "I do not think anyone is interested, except for the press". He also added that it is impossible to make public the declaration, while the US tax service conducts its audit. The department, in turn, reported that Trump can publish its reports even during its audit.
