RIA Novosti informs that Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on new tariffs for the "Plato". From April 15, the rate will be 1.91 rubles per kilometer of the way.

Now the system's tariff is equal to 1.53 rubles per kilometer. As previously reported, according to the government decree of January 31, from April 15, he had to double - up to 3.06 rubles.

The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers was informed: "The signed coefficient 0.82 is replaced by a coefficient of 0.51. The amount of payment per kilometer of the route will be 1.91 rubles ".

Dmitry Medvedev met with representatives of small and medium business.

The Prime Minister announced his readiness to extend the grace period in the "Platon" system, having indexed the current tariff by only 25%. Medvedev expressed the opinion that this would allow to check once again the operation of the system itself, revealing its strengths and weaknesses, and will give freight carriers the opportunity to better adapt to the new rules.

Recall, the system "Plato" was introduced on November 15, 2015. The money goes to the federal road fund as compensation for the destruction of tracks by trucks weighing more than 12 tons.
