In the morning program of TVN24 TV channel, Polish Prime Minister Beata Shidlo said that Poland will not sign the final declaration of the forthcoming EU summit on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome on March 25 in the Italian capital if it does not contain important provisions for Warsaw.

She said: "Unless priority postulates for Poland are accepted, we will not sign the Roman declaration".

From her words it follows that for Poland "it is important to unite the EU, its defense in close cooperation with NATO, strengthen the role of national parliaments and maintain the norms of the common market, which should not be divided but united".

Shidlo also stressed that work on the declaration continues.

The Prime Minister of Poland informed: "There is an unwritten agreement between us, that if there is no consensus, everyone agrees to the text by Friday, there will be no document at all, because there is no discussion on Saturday".

Shidlo believes: "This summit was a great hope. It was to be a turning point, the beginning of a new era. Now in the EU there is no such climate. The European Union is in such a deep crisis that it is not ready to make important decisions ".
