Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences to May in connection with the terrorist attack in London

The press service of the Kremlin reports that Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences to the British Prime Minister in connection with the terrorist attack in London, called on all to unite efforts in the fight against terrorism.

In a telegram of condolences, the Russian president noted: "The forces of terror are increasingly cunning and cynical. It is obvious that in order to confront the terrorist threat, a real unification of the efforts of all members of the world community is required ".



The head of the Russian state also conveyed the words of sympathy and support to the families of the deceased and the wish for a speedy recovery to all those who suffered at the hands of the extremist.

As previously reported, yesterday afternoon on March 22, the car drove into the crowd at Westminster Bridge in London. The policeman was stabbed on the territory of the British Parliament, the attacker was shot. Later the policeman died.

The British police regard the incident with the attack near the parliament building as an act of terrorism.
