The city news agency "Moscow" reports that the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia Vladimir Zhirinovsky said that parliamentarians and journalists did not correctly understand his words at the previous plenary session.

He explained that the phrase "shooting" and "hanging" belonged to representatives of criminal communities.

Zhirinovsky noted: "I spoke about the mafia, about crime, about corruption. This is my appeal to them. What does this have to do with the deputy corps? ".

As previously reported, on March 15, the politician announced pressure on the party in the Moscow region of Ruza and accused United Russia of bribery. And at the end of the speech, he promised his colleagues from the United States that he would "drive into the Kremlin" as president and "shoot and hang" them. Speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin made a note to the parliamentarian, after which the LDPR faction left the meeting room.

The remaining factions called on Zhirinovsky to apologize for the incorrect statements. However, the politician himself stated that he is not going to do this.
