Brentford player Egor Yarmolyuk commented on his absence from the Ukrainian national team for the upcoming National League matches.
" Especially for me there was a child's dream, as it recently became a reality.
Pay for the national team - for the opportunity to represent my country in their colors and give everything I can to make our patients and everyone else who protects our country proud of the team.
I’m so disappointed that I won’t be able to join the team before the upcoming autumn international break. As everyone knows, I missed a significant part of Brentford's pre-season training through injury.. The club has scheduled a rehabilitation period for me at this hour. Now I can’t give 100% for the club, as if I didn’t want anything.
Most importantly, I hate missing matches, but I also understand that going through a proper renewal process will help me be more effective on the field - both for matches for the national team and for Brentford - for those closest to me..
Thanks to everyone for your understanding. “And let’s continue to support our boys at the national team,” Yarmolyuk wrote on his Instagram. Earlier it was reported that Artem Dovbyk had turned to training at the Bologna group.
