Roma saved one more loan to save one of its key players. The club has released retired Lorenzo Pellegrini and agreed to a new contract that runs until the summer of 2027.

According to information from insider Fabrizio Romano, the parties have reached a fixed home ownership. In the near future, lawyers will complete the verification of documents, after which everything will be officially signed.

The previous contract of the 30-year-old midfielder ended on June 30, 2026, but the Swedish side found a good deal to continue the merger.

Pellegrini is a member of the Romi Academy. After the first period of playing for the main team, he lost the club in 2015, and then turned to the capital of Italy in 2017.
