Military personnel who voluntarily left their unit before June 12, 2026, have the opportunity to voluntarily return to service. This can be done until September 20, 2026. The main feature of this procedure is the ability to independently choose a new unit and desired position. This was reported in the Poltava Regional TCC and SP.

After the fighter arrives at the selected unit, his salary and all provided payments will be fully restored.. A serviceman can decide for himself where and with whom to serve, but within the limits of his structure.

When submitting a report, you can indicate your priority specialty - from mechanic and artilleryman to UAV pilot. The report is reviewed up to 7 days. After arrival at the unit and official enrollment in the service, payments and social security are restored in full.

You can submit a report to the selected department in one of three ways:.

– through the Army+ application (available for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, NSU and GSST);

– directly to the unit (for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the GSST);

– through the 1st or 2nd recruiting center (only for the Armed Forces of Ukraine).

At the same time, the TCC notes that submitting several reports at the same time is prohibited. After the report is approved, the serviceman has the opportunity to continue serving with full restoration of payments. This simplified procedure does not apply to new cases of SOC. If the documents of a military unit record the fact of unauthorized abandonment of the unit after June 12, 2026, the return occurs exclusively on a general basis.
