Ukrainian singer Elena Topolya spoke about the customers and details of the information attack planned against her. In an interview for the YouTube project “Naspravdi Show,” the performer shared new details of the pre-trial investigation and revealed the motives of those who leaked her intimate footage online.

The artist claims that behind this is one specific person from her circle, who was helped by a whole team. Elena explained that these people manipulated her for years, and when they lost any influence, they decided to destroy her reputationally, morally and financially in order to “cleanse themselves”.

The singer was especially struck by the fact that after the leak, customers cynically wrote to her and offered “help” in solving this problem, hoping that the frightened victim would come running to them.

“I can’t even describe how hypocritical it must be to consciously do such things. This whole plan was prepared for several months. But they miscalculated. They didn't expect me to react this way. They expected me to be confused and to turn to them for help.. But I understood where the legs grow from,” said Topolya.

Now the pre-trial investigation is coming to an end, and then the participants in the process will face trial. However, the singer is unhappy with how the case is progressing. She suspects that interested parties are deliberately trying to delay the process. Elena said that if law enforcement agencies do not punish the perpetrators, she is ready to act independently.

“There are a lot of questions on my part as a victim, because I don’t like everything about how the case is going. But I really hope. If it happens that they interfere with me, I will just say everything myself. I will name names,” she shared.

The artist does not hide that the incident dealt a powerful blow to her reputation and psychological state.

“I was disgraced throughout the country. There are many moments that influenced the perception of me as a woman, a mother, a singer, a normal person who did nothing bad to anyone, did not break any laws and did not lead a riotous lifestyle when he was married.. All this has been turned upside down, how beneficial it is for those who are trying to destroy me reputationally and financially,” Elena shared.

Let us recall that in January Elena Topolya publicly announced blackmail. The attackers demanded 75 thousand dollars from her, threatening to publish intimate footage of her and a 23-year-old guy.

The singer refused to pay and immediately contacted the police, after which the video ended up online on January 19. Law enforcement officers quickly detained a 23-year-old Kiev resident who, according to investigators, secretly filmed the singer with a hidden camera. He was accused of extortion.
