The Rokitnyansky District Court of the Kyiv Region placed under arrest for 60 days without the right to bail the former commander of the 155th Infantry Brigade " At the very beginning of the meeting, Luchanov stated that he did not admit his guilt..
In court, the prosecutor noted that when Lieutenant Colonel Luchanov of the Ukrainian Armed Forces commanded the 155th Mechanized Brigade, he was the “immediate superior” of the other defendants in the case. In particular, according to the investigation, the suspect decided to involve the military men Dolgalenko, Dmitruk, Zayets, Pertsula, Artamonov, Shurka, Mikitenko, Kozak and Kolomiets in the abduction and murder of the brothers.. All nine obeyed Luchanov. The lieutenant colonel allegedly ordered the military to distribute “roles” among themselves and subsequently direct the preparation and commission of the crime.
After which, according to the prosecutor, these persons arrived in Kalinovka on the night of July 27 and illegally entered the territory of the house where the Moseichuk brothers lived. At the scene, suspect Zayets, according to investigators, shot twice at one of them, Roman.

Then the suspects forcibly placed the brothers in Mercedes Vito and Mitsubishi L200 cars and took them to military unit A5001. There the suspects held their captives until July 1.
It was on July 1, as the prosecutor added, that Luchanov decided to organize the murder of the Moseichuks in order to thus conceal their abduction. To do this, the lieutenant colonel recruited another of his subordinates, the battalion commander of the 155th Mechanized Infantry Brigade, Alexei Dolgalenko..
The latter, on the same day, took Maxim Moseychuk in a company car to a training ground near Poltava. Already at the training ground, Dolgalenko, as the investigation established, shot Maxim Moseychuk in the head, from which he died on the spot.
Then, as the prosecutor continued to tell, the suspect took Roman Moseichuk to the training ground. Dolgalenko shot him in the head at least eight times. The suspect dug a hole in advance on the territory of the landfill in order to later place the bodies there so that they would not be found. After committing the crime, he reported to Luchanov.
After the prosecutor outlined the details of the case, he recalled that after the murder was made public, Luchanov left the military unit without permission and changed his phone number.
At the same time, Luchanov himself stated that he allegedly did not agree with the suspicion brought against him. He also assured that he was ready to cooperate with the investigation..
The lieutenant colonel allegedly agrees with the preventive measure, since the investigation sees the risks. According to Luchanov’s lawyer, “there is not a single mention” of his client in the case materials. They say that the order to kill the brothers was given by “another person”.
